The Washington Symphony Orchestra will open its 13th season with "Something Wicked," which will be performed on Saturday, October 11 at 8 p.m. at Trinity High School, Washington.

The temperatures are dropping and the need for the food pantry is rising. During this time of year we always see the quantity of those that need help with food and other items rise.

A Purse Bash, benefiting St. Joan of Arc Appalachia Workcamp and Youth Group, will be held October 11 from 12 - 4 p.m. at Castle Shannon Fire Hall.
