Many people come out to listen to the live music throughout the summer.

The opening act featured live oldies by Smokey. This one-man band plays two keyboards which have prerecorded rhythm presets and sings to classic songs such as Bob Segar's "Old Time Rock and Roll," Sam the Sham and the Pharaohs' "Wooly Bully," and John Mellencamp's "Hurts So Good."

The schedule for future concerts is as follows:
◦ July 6 - Rock/Soul
◦ July 13 - Jazz
◦ July 20 - Beatles Tribute
◦ July 27 - Oldies
◦ August 3 - Oldies/Motown
◦ August 10 - Big Band/Swing
◦ August 17 - Classic/New Rock
◦ August 24 - Classic Rock/Southern Rock
Each concert starts at 6 p.m. and goes until 9 p.m. Grab a bite to eat at any of the local eateries including Mama Pepino's and Rockwells Red Lion and, while you wait for the start of the concert, check out the local shops, which include Rite Aid and Dollar General. For more information, please contact the Elizabeth Borough Municipal Building.
