The South Park 8th grade girls' basketball team recently completed another phenomenal season in the Metro USA Sports League.

South Park 8th Grade Girls Basketball
Team. Front Row (l-r): Allison
Karrenbauer, Haley Snee, Alyssa Greer,
Emily Figliolia, Kylie Tranter. Back Row
(l-r): Coach Mike Greer, Leah Campolong,
Elisa DeRose, Brittany Andrews, Justine
Dean, Coach Paul Palaschak.
The team went undefeated in the regular season and won their division. Unfortunately, they fell short of perfection, losing the championship game in a hotly contested match.

The girls improved their game throughout the year by participating in the Metro USA Sports regular season games, playoffs, summer workouts/leagues and various open class tournaments.

Each player's talent and ability is reflected by the way they work together as a team on the court.

With the support of their coaches, parents, family and friends, the team will be well-prepared to transition to a higher level of basketball in high school.

Good luck to the girls in their future endeavors and many thanks to everyone who have encouraged them along the way. The team is coached by Paul Palaschak and Mike Greer.
