The following information is for the Venetia Community Center located at 800 Venetia Rd., Venetia, PA. We are sponsored by the Area Agency on Aging.
The August 8 lunch starts with blood pressure screenings at 11:00 am by a nurse from Caring Home Health. A delicious lunch with follow at 12:00 noon prepared by the Canonsburg Senior Center and transported to our Center by our faithful volunteers and served by our capable volunteers in our kitchen. The entertainment will be a speaker, Andrew R. Quinn, from Kennywood Park. A very interesting topic to bring back childhood memories and what has changed over the years. Come and join us. New people are always welcome by calling 724-941-6956 for a reservation.
On August 22, there will be blood pressure screenings at 11:00 followed by lunch. After lunch, we will have a guest soloist playing a variety of music on the saxophone by Jeff Ruch with Elizabeth Jeffries on the piano.
Birthdays for August: Craig Cadonic, Virginia Gaul, Tawny Patterson and Edna Russell. Have a happy and healthy birthday.
