The West Newton Senior Center will be sponsoring one-day bust trips through the end of 2013. Using Quest Transportation, all bus trips will be departing from West Newton, Robertson Street behind Giant Eagle. For all trips, your full payment is your reservation. Cancellation only accepted if you replace yourself. Payments can be sent to West Newton Senior Center, 103 E. Main St., West Newton, PA 15089. For more information, call Lou Ann at 724-872-4976.
 
September 14 - "Yankee Tyme" Ohio Amish trip. 7 am departure for Ohio. Sharon Grover will be our guide onto Burton Ohio, where we will tour Century Village, (restored by the Historical Society), Burton Log Cabin for Maple Syrup, Welshfield Inn for lunch, then on to Fowlers Mill and store, End of Commons General store and final stop at the Depot for ice cream. Total price $90. All included, tour, bus, driver tip, lunch and tour tickets. Deadline August 14.
 
October 12 we will depart at 7 am and have a wonderful breakfast at Carson's catering before departing to Bedford to celebrate their annual “Bedford Days” celebration. You will have time in town to shop in the stores, whatever churches and individuals who have sales until 1 pm. We will then tour Old Bedford Village and Gift Shop, departing at 3 pm and final stop at Hill Berris, Mt Pleasant, PA for pie, ice cream and wine tasting at Greedance Winery. Total price $65. Includes all meals, tour, bus and driver tip. Deadline September 12.
 
November 9 we will depart for Indiana, PA. Tour Jimmy Stewart Museum, lunch at Hiss's salad bar, tour Silas Clark Mansion, drive to Smicksburg to shop at Amish shops, and finish the day with an Amish Wedding Feast. Price $82.00 Includes all meals, tour, bus and driver tip. Deadline October 9.
 
December 7 - 30th Annual Christmas & Gift Show, Harrisburg, PA We only have a 41 passenger bus for this one so get your reservation in early. Depart 7am, arrive in Harrisburg at 10:30 after one brief comfort stop tour and shop the Beautiful Christmas gift and craft show. Depart for home at 2:30. Cost $50. Deadline November 7.
