School News


Ringgold Middle School participated in the MATHCOUNTS competition at Washington & Jefferson College on Saturday, February 9. Ringgold placed third among the nine schools represented at the competition.

The Ringgold Middle School team consists of Maria Lengwin, Grant Gerard, Noah Trunzo and Sarah Ott. In addition to the school team, six more students participated in the competition as individuals. These students are: Emily Drake, Rachel Guarinoni, John Carlo Lignelli, George Martin, Allen Middleton, and Liam Smith. Three Ringgold students; Grant Gerard, Maria Lengwin, and Sarah Ott, placed in the top 20 of the 80-plus students participating in the competition. All of the Ringgold students placed within the top two-thirds of those competing.
