School News

A local FIRST® Lego League Robotics team, Master Minds #23836, took home a trophy at the Southwestern PA Grand Championship at La Roche College on January 13, 2018.

Pictured are (l-r): Joshua Silveira, Sarah Wilhelm, Eden Silveira, Benjamin Ware, and Clyde Wilhelm III. Sarah Wilhelm attends Ringgold Middle School. The other students are homeschooled.

They won 2nd place for the presentation of their storm water run-off research project. They created a kid-friendly Lego stop-animation video that was designed to inform and educate the public in a fun and engaging way. The video can be seen on YouTube by searching ‘Sky to Stream Gray to Green.’
