Ringgold Elementary School North held its annual PTA-sponsored Science Fair this past spring for grades 3, 4, and 5.

The Science Fair was made mandatory for 5^th grade this year, but it was optional for the 3^rd and 4^th graders. The 5^th grade worked in teams of 3 or 4 students, and the 3^rd and 4^th graders could work in groups of no more than 2 students.

There were 23 team projects submitted by 5^th grade and 15 individual/group projects submitted by 3^th and 4^th grade students. The judging was performed by Ringgold High School seniors Lauren Niziol, Lauren Suppo, and Megan Williams for 3^rd and 4^th grades and Noah Trunzo, Drew Hrycko and Rachel Guarnoni for 5^th grade. All of the judges are enrolled in advanced placement biology and/or organic chemistry classes at RHS.

Special thanks also goes out to all of the RESN faculty and administrative staff that helped to make the science fairs such great successes. Everyone did an outstanding job!
