Orchard Christian Fellowship Church in Monessen held a fun Christmas party in their Fellowship Hall on Saturday, December 13. There were a lot of people there, adults and children, according to the Pastor John Custer, including some he had not yet met.

Heading up the committee of those who worked to make the event possible were: Janet Fisher, Jethe Custer, Rosemary Larkin, and Erin Aul. Another person who did work for the church, cleaning Fellowship Hall, was Hilda Troth.

DJ for the evening was Randy Aul, and by the end of the evening, at least one couple was swaying lovingly on the dance floor.

Evangelist Leonard Larkin, who said a blessing over the meal, summed things up best: "We are the family of God. There are no visitors here, just family. We all know that these ladies provided the labor, but it was you, Lord, who provided the skill...."

All who went made beautiful memories, renewing friendships and making new ones. Also they enjoyed delicious buffet home-cooked food and rich desserts. They sang Christmas songs together as well, and then went home in peace and joy.
