First United Methodist Church of Monongahela, 430 West Main St., is celebrating 200 Years in Mission and Ministry, 1813-2013.

First on our program we are inviting the community to join in for an Easter Organ Recital with organist Jim Sykes at 7 p.m. on March 20. Bring your family and friends and have an enjoyable evening. Refreshment served.

`The 200 Years Celebration Committee is having a signature quilt made and needs your signature. If you haven't signed the quilt, it is available after both services, with Easter being the last time signatures will be taken.

We are looking for members and past members who have been part of our church. We need to have you call or write so we can continue to send you information in our year-long celebration. If you have a memory you would like to share with us, please send it.

The United Methodist women continue to make prayer blankets. The women are also making pillowcase dresses for Dress a Girl Around the World. Pillowcases, new or used, can be donated and may be dropped off at the church.

We will hold the following events in March. For more information, call 724-258-7054.
