Crossroads Ministries will host free summer movies on the lawn! Family-friendly movies will be shown on the following evenings: July 8 will feature “Woodlawn- The True Story” and on August 12, we'll screen Disney’s “Wreck-it Ralph.”

What’s a “fly in”? Light aircraft owners have been invited to “fly in” to Finleyville Airport to spend an afternoon with other aircraft owners and become acquainted with Finleyville Airport and the facilities that are available there – fuel, hanger space, tie-downs, repairs, etc.

The Washington County Community Foundation (WCCF) is pleased to announce that the work of two nonprofits this year will benefit from President’s Choice Awards. The Highland Ridge Community Development Corporation and Independence Conservancy each recently received $10,000 unrestricted grants from the Foundation’s Acorn Fund.
