Embrace the change of seasons and leap into fall with the Pennsylvania Trolley Museum's annual Pumpkin Patch Trolley, which runs Friday through Sunday October 10 - 12, 17 - 19, and 24 - 26.

At the event, visitors will take a ride on an antique trolley to the pumpkin patch where children get to select their pumpkin and then decorate it at our new Education & Events Room. Families can take a tour and see trolleys and enjoy other kids' activities, including complimentary refreshments and games for children. The event runs 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. each day with the last ride to the pumpkin patch at 4:15 p.m.

Pumpkin patch admission also includes unlimited rides on multiple trolleys and tours of the Trib Total Media Trolley Display Building (which houses 30 trolleys from all over the region). Visitors can also shop in the museum store and kids can also explore play trolley car 225 and enjoy the Thomas and Chuggington play tables.

Admission for the Pumpkin Patch Trolley is $10 for adults; $9 for seniors (62+); $7 for kids (1-15); and free for kids under 1. Admission includes a pumpkin for each child; additional pumpkins are $2. Tickets can be purchased for specific time periods in advance on-line at www.patrolley.org. Advance ticket holders receive priority boarding on streetcars.

Additionally, in conjunction with the Pennsylvania Arts & Crafts Christmas Festival (Friday – Sunday, October 17-19 and Saturday and Sunday, October 25-26), the museum will offer park and ride service from the parking lot to the Washington County Fairgrounds. Service runs from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. from the museum (1 Museum Road, Washington, PA 15301). Round-trip trolley tickets are only $2 per person (children under 3 are free) and riders are taken to the main gate of the festival. This rate does not include Pumpkin Patch activities or the museum.

To reach the Museum, take I-79 to Exit 41 Racetrack Road or Route 19 to Racetrack Road, then follow the blue signs three miles to the Museum. For more information, please visit www.patrolley.org or call 724-228-9256. Group (20 or more) rates also available.
