The South Park Women's Club is starting off its new year with something new, different, and exciting. The agenda for our September meeting is "Share Your Harvest Exchange".
Bring your fresh fruit, vegetables, and flowers to the meeting on Monday, September 16 at 7:00PM at the South Park Community Center. Come join us for desert, 50/50 raffle, fun, and the making of new friends.
The club is also sponsoring a fundraiser event on Wednesday, September 4 from 6:00 to 8:00PM at Rita's Ice on Library Road in Bethel Park. It promises to be lots of fun and to have many surprises. It is a great opportunity to help community families and individuals by purchasing Rita's Ice during the allotted time.
We will also have a table set up at Community Day in South Park Fairgrounds on Saturday, September 21 from 9:00AM – 4:00PM located in the Clock Building. At this time you can purchase your Pittsburgh Penguins raffle tickets and find out about all the good our Club does in our Community.
Mark your calendars! The Club will also be hosting their 20th Annual Craft Show on Saturday, October 12 in the Home Economics Building at the South Park Fairgrounds from 10:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. The show features 40+ skilled crafters, a Chinese Auction, raffles, a bake sale and refreshments. Admission is free. Stay for lunch. This is the perfect time to purchase unique, handmade, specialty gift items, possibly early Christmas presents.
