Calling all car, truck, bike, muscle cars, street rods, Model T's, and late model enthusiasts. Mark your calendar for Saturday October 5 for Downtown West Newton Inc's 3rd Annual “Rocktober Car Cruise”.
This popular event will be held from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at Vine Street Park in West Newton at the corner of 4th and Vine. The Rocktober Car Cruise event will be hosted by our dear friend Mayor Mary Popovich.
Registration begins promptly at 12:00 noon and is just $5 per vehicle. We will have dash plaques for the first 100 registrants, goody bags for the first 200 and of course 50 trophies given out by a panel of judges. (Note: all entries must bring proof of ownership!) New this year is the “Kids class.” If you have a youngster who loves their ride-on car, they too can bring it out and display it for all to see. There will also be prizes, lots of food, a gift basket auction, 50/50, dining dollars raffle, TV auction and Lucky Lottery.
Make sure you bring your chair to kick back and relax to the sounds of 770 KFB Doo Wop Duo, Frankie Day and Glenn Raymer playing hits from the 50's, 60's, and 70's.
Event will be held rain or shine. If it rains, bring a picture and post it on the wall of fame, as prizes will be awarded in this category as well. Come early for the best spots! Any questions please give us a call at 724-872-4995 for more details.
