The Washington County Department of Parks & Recreation will be offering group hayrides this fall in Cross Creek County Park and Mingo Creek County Park.
The Washington County Department of Parks & Recreation will be offering group hayrides this fall in Cross Creek County Park and Mingo Creek County Park.
Hayrides arc approximately 50 minutes in length, and the haywagon can accommodate approximately 25 people per hour. The use of a picnic shelter and a fire circle for two hours before or after the scheduled hayride is also provided. The cost is $50 per hayride. Hayrides book quickly. Call the Washington County Parks & Recreation Office at 724-228-6867 for available times and information about scheduling a hayride. Be sure to indicate if your reservation is for Cross Creek County Park or Mingo Creek County Park. Available dates and times are shown below
Cross Creek County Park
Available dates for the hayrides are Friday, October 4 and Saturday, October 5. Hayrides are scheduled 5:00 - 8:00 p.m. both evenings.
Mingo Creek County Park
Available dates are Friday, October 11, Saturday, October 12, Friday, October 18, Saturday, October 19, Friday, October 25 and Saturday, October 26. The Friday evening hayrides are available 5:00 - 8:00 p.m. Hayrides scheduled on Saturday, October 12 are available 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. Hayrides scheduled for Saturdays, October 19 and 20 are available 1:00 - 8:00 p.m.
