Attention all you Fancy Nancy's out there. The West Newton Community Festival invites you to attend a Fancy Nancy Parade and Tea Party Event on Saturday, September 7 starting at 12:00 noon and ending at 2:30 p.m.
 
All you Fancy Nancy's will be able to participate in the West Newton Community Festival Parade and then enjoy a private Tea Party at the Christ Lutheran Church on the corner of Vine and Third Street.

All those who participate are to dress up in their best Fancy Nancy style and meet at McCauley's Funeral Home at 901 Vine Street, West Newton at 11:30 a.m. to line up for the parade. Immediately following the parade, the entire group will move to church social hall for the Grand Tea Party.

The event is open to all girls ages 3 to 12. All children attending the festivities must be accompanied by an adult chaperon. The cost is only $10per child. Each child wishing to attend needs to pre-register by contacting Cheryl Boes at 724-872-8697 and mailing your payment to 134 North Second Street, West Newton, PA 15089. Please make checks payable to the West Newton Community Festival.
