There are a lot of plans to showcase the best acts from the pillars of our Mon Valley communities, beginning with the judges.

The Honorable Judges: Jesse Cramer, Mark Wilson, Josh Kanalis, Joe Dalfonso, Charles Christner and Curtis Thompson make up the Mon Valley’s Got Talent judges' panel offering up commentary that will range from glowing praise to stinging critique to each of the contestants.

It is certain that the crowd will await their commentary with baited breath, certain that something ingenious will escape each of their lips and have the crowd in stitches.

“Having our local magistrates as judges adds a bit more of a celebrity slant to the mix of local celebrity talent that is sure to be both entertaining and sometimes jaw dropping.” boasts program coordinator, Lori Spina.

The winner chosen from the local showcase of contestants, will not only receive the title of “Mon Valley’s Most Talented”, but will also be awarded one free recording session with Blue Light Recording Studio & Productions. Their recording will be produced, mixed, mastered and radio ready. The session will consist of the artist recording their own original composition or they can record with a pre-recorded music track of their choice.

Mon Valley’s Got Talent will take place on Saturday, October 5 at Bentleyville Fire Department. A $35 ticket includes dinner provided by Hog Fathers, 2 drink tickets, a talent show and music & dancing until midnight. All proceeds will benefit the Mon Valley Regional Chamber of Commerce. (See related article in this issue for further details about the event).

Tickets are available by calling Jenn at 724-483-6300 or by contacting any chamber member. For more information, you may email: monvalleysgottalent@gmail.com.
