Bentleyville Mayor Gets His Library Card!

Bentleyville Mayor, Tom Brown receives his new library card at the Bentleyville Public Library. Cards for the new online Polaris system are now available. Bring in your old card and an ID to get your new WAGGIN card. Contact the library for more information at 724-239-5122.
Board Meeting
The Board of Trustees of the Bentleyville Public Library will meet at the library Thursday, July 11 at 7:00 pm. The meetings are open to the public.

Book Club
The Bentleyville Public Library Book Club will meet at the library Thursday, July 18 at 6:00 pm. The book to be discussed will be “Pontoon” by Garrison Keillor. Call to reserve a book at 724-239-5122, new members are welcome.

Carnegie Museum to Present Dinosaur Program
Carnegie Museum of Natural History will visit the Bentleyville Public Library Saturday, July 20 at 2:00 pm. The Museum will present the program : "Teeth and Claws: Dinosaur Diversity" where we will learn what fossils can and cannot reveal about a specimen’s characteristics, adaptations, and behaviors. The Bentleyville Public Library will be closed Thursday, July 4 in observation of Independence Day.

Benefit Luncheon at Nemacolin
The Friends of the Bentleyville Public Library will host a benefit luncheon Sunday, July 21 at 1:00 pm. The luncheon will be held at the Nemacolin Country Club. Your $25 donation will include a lunch selection and there will be a Chinese Auction. All proceeds benefit the library. Seed Lending Library
The Bentworth Seed Lending Library meeting will be held on Tuesday, July 16 at 6:00 pm at the Bentleyville Public Library. You will be instructed on how preserve seeds from your garden harvest, preserving your harvest, and fresh made salsa and garden snacks for you to enjoy. To register, contact the Library at 724-239-5122.

Kids Science Club
The Bentleyville Public Library is registering children ages 6 to 11 for Kids Science Club. The Club will meet Wednesday, July 24 at 6:00 pm. Learn science with fun and exciting experiments. Contact the library to register and for more information at 724-239-5122.
