Fayette Friends of Animals (FFOA) is located one mile of Route 40 near New Salem. Visit our website, fayettefriendsofanimals.net to see many of the dogs and cats that are up for adoption.

FFOA is currently housing several large dogs who have been at the shelter for a long time. Rocky, Thor, Ram, Aspen, Cosmo and Maverik are some of the long term residents. We also have several lovable Beagles. Adult cats are under $100 and already spayed/neutered and up to date on shots.

The shelter is currently in need of canned dog and cat food, bleach, laundry detergent, and brooms. Several new or used cat tree houses would also be appreciated. (Toys and dry food not needed at this time.) The shelter also welcomes used blankets, towels, rugs, comforters, sheets, pillows, and chair cushions. If you are interested in helping with fundraisers a few times a year, please call 724-245-7815.

Volunteer at Fayette Friends of Animals

Volunteers are always needed. There is a wonderful walking trail to walk the dogs. There is a cat room where volunteers can sit and pet and brush the cats. Volunteers are needed on Saturday and Sunday mornings to help with dishes and folding laundry. Senior Projects are welcome. Call 724-245-7815 to inquire about volunteer orientation dates. Volunteer applications can be filled out at the shelter or found on the website.
