The Donora Public Library, located at 510 Meldon Avenue in Donora will be holding the following upcoming programs and events. Please call the library for more information or questions at 724-379-7940.

Wii Summer Bowling Tourney
Calling all youth between the ages of 6 and 15! Limber up your bowling arm, get your game face on, and sign up for the Donora Public Library's Wii Summer Bowling Tournament! Compete in Wii bowling on Fridays and Saturdays, June 28 through July 27, and at the end of the series, cash prizes will be awarded! Each age group, 6-10 and 11-15, will have its own first ($25.00), second ($15.00), and third ($10.00) prize winners. Also, one bowler from either group will win the prize for best attendance ($20.00). (In the event of a tie for best attendance, the winner will be determined by a draw). With many thanks to the anonymous patron who provided the prize money, we invite you to show who's the best young Wii bowler in Donora!

Knit and Crochet Group
Time to knit or crochet that bikini! Or maybe you're working on a cover-up? No? Well, whether you have always wanted to learn to knit or crochet, you know how but you're rusty, you're an expert in search of a challenge, or anywhere in between, come to the regular monthly meeting of the Knit and Crochet group at the Donora Public Library on Thursday, June 13, from 5:30 to 7 pm. With help from Knit and Crochet group leader (and fiber virtuoso) Christine Williamson, we show and tell what we're working on, begin new projects from the first loop, and we always enjoy a yarn or two. Library provides acrylic yarn, plus needles and hooks for on-site use at no charge, or you may bring your own. All ages and genders welcome!

Form a Readers Group
The Donora Public Library invites anyone interested in forming a reader's group to call 412-384-0962. The group will meet at the library during regular library hours (Mon-Thurs 11-7, Fri., 11-5, Sat. 10-5); specific meeting times, dates, and titles to read will be decided by the group.
