The West Newton Lions Club announces the second Annual Junk in your Trunk Event on Saturday June 22. This event is co-sponsored by Westmoreland Cleanways and is open to the public.
You may drive or carry your unwanted items for drop off from 8:30 am till 12:00 noon at West Newton Lion’s Club ball field, located at 514 Pittsburgh Street, West Newton. Limited assistance will be available to off load your items, so bring help if you can.
This cleanup will enable you to dispose of all E-waste for electronics, tires on the rim or off, scrap metal, freon in appliances or without, and general trash. No hazardous materials are accepted. Nominal fee charged for tire disposal and freon appliances.
