Downtown West Newton Inc. will be holding a benefit Breaded Pork Chop Dinner on April 20 from 4 to 8 pm. The dinner includes a breaded pork chop served with stuffing and all the fixin's. It also includes a beverage, bread and desert. The cost is $10.00 in advance and $12.00 at the door. Tickets are available at Gary's Chuckwagon or by calling 724-872-0100. For children 10 and under we will be serving chicken strips and fries for $5.00. The event is sponsored by Gary's Chuckwagon located at South Second Street. West Newton PA.
Downtown West Newton Inc. is actively accepting reservations for its new Farmers Market that will be running from June to late October. The event will take place on Saturdays mid morning through mid afternoon. The event will take place at the new Simeral Square Park located at the corner of Main and North Water Street with a second location in the West Newton Library's parking lot right across the street. Come and spend the morning in historic West Newton as you gaze upon the beautiful Youghiogheny River and bike trail. Please give us a call at 724-872-0100 and ask for Barb or Lacie to book your spot. Spaces are limited and we are offering a discount if you book the entire season.
