In the weeks preceding Christmas, a group of hard-working Bentleyville residents came together to make the town just a bit brighter for the Holidays.

Hard-working Bentleyville residents Linda Vrabel, Marie Larimer, and Roy Larimer marvel at how beautiful Bentleyville looks under the holiday lights while discussing improvements they can make for the 2013 season.
Council members Linda Vrabel and Roy Larimer, Marie Larimer, Borough secretary Kim Sacco, Streets Dept. workers Art Blackburn and Mark Bostich, and Ellsworth Streets Dept. workers went over each piece of previously used holiday lighting to refurbish it to look new again. Ellsworth workers helped Bentleyville workers put their lights up, and Bentleyville reciprocated to help Ellsworth install their holiday lights. Their efforts dressed both towns for the holidays for all to enjoy while spending a minimum of funds. The group has plans to raise monies to provide additional lighting and even better decorations for the upcoming 2013 holiday season.
