State Rep. Peter J. Daley, D-Washington/Fayette, is announcing that assistance preparing state and federal income tax returns will be available beginning in February.

Volunteers will be available at the following times, days and locations:

• 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Mondays and Wednesdays at Center on the Hill, 100 Summit Road, Belle Vernon. To schedule an appointment, please call 724-930-8512.

Daley said constituents seeking tax assistance must make an appointment, bring last year’s tax returns, and all original, stamped/paid 2012 property tax receipts.

Also needed are all forms and booklets received from the Pennsylvania Revenue Dept. The forms have a personal identification number that is unique to each individual. Use of that number allows the tax return to be filed via the Revenue Department’s Internet site.

More information is available by calling Daley’s Donora Office at 724-379-5540 or toll free at 1-800-467-9486.
