As Halloween approaches, the West Jefferson Hills Historical Society and Jefferson Hills Library are pleased to offer a properly scary tale on October 25 at 7:00 P.M. in the Community Rooms of the Jefferson Hills Borough Building. Bob Cranmer's “Demon of Brownsville Road” will relate the harrowing story of an evil presence that tormented his family and the epic spiritual war he fought to save everything he held dear. Society and community members alike are invited to attend this free program, which promises to be a spine-tingling account of a local supernatural event. In addition, attendees might learn a bit about the history and furnishings of the beautiful home that is now the Brownsville Road House Bed & Breakfast.
