The Southpointe CEO Association (SPCEOA) is pleased to announce that the 2020 SPCEOA scholarship program is now accepting applications.

Celebrating and encouraging leadership development in business, community, and education, the SPCEOA will award up to two $5,000 scholarships to individuals who have demonstrated excellence in leadership and educational achievement. This program seeks to recognize Washington County residents who strive to improve their leadership skills and achieve higher levels of education.

The SPCEOA scholarship program is open to individuals who are employees (or dependents of employees) of SPCEOA and/or Washington County Chamber of Commerce member organizations and reside in Washington County. The program was created to help provide support to those who seek to make a positive impact in the Washington County community through the completion of a college, post-graduate, or technical degree. The SPCEO Scholarship Program is open to eligible applicants who will be attending a college, post-secondary, or technical school during the 2020-21 academic year. The SPCEO awards these two scholarships in honor of Jack B. Piatt, Founder and Chairman of Millcraft Investments and founder of the Southpointe CEO Association.

“The Southpointe CEO Association is proud to offer this scholarship opportunity to outstanding students and emerging leaders in Washington County,” said association president, Dr. David Mariner. He continued, “We have no doubt that the candidates for 2020 will continue to raise the bar and develop into future leaders in our county. We are also thrilled to recognize and honor Mr. Piatt for his contributions to the development of Southpointe and Washington County.”

The full scholarship application criteria and submission guidelines are available at the SPCEO website: http://www.washcochamber.com/southpointe-ceo. The deadline for applications is Tuesday, April 30, 2020 by 4:00 p.m. (EST) (no exceptions). Applications postmarked or electronic applications received after this deadline will not be considered. The SPCEO Scholarship awards will be announced in May 2020.
