The Rostraver Woman's Club (RWC) held their end of the year banquet at The River House Café in Charleroi on June 5. Hostesses for the evening were, Luann Lynn and Tami Brazon. They used a patriotic theme for the table décor and had large sugar cookies with the GFWC logo on them for favors.

President, Beata Herold, welcomed the members and guests. She thanked the hostesses and revealed that they were winners in the GFWC 'Step Up with Mickey and Friends' walking contest. Both ladies walked over 3 million steps. Luann took 3rd place in the GFWC Southwest District competition.
President Herold thanked the members for a great year! The club welcomed six new members, participated in many activities, fundraising, and made donations to many worthy causes. Members were treated to birthday cupcakes for dessert and played a fun game, ‘Get to Know That Person’. An enjoyable evening was had by all.
The RWC will resume regular meetings on Wednesday, September 4, at Fells United Methodist Church at 7:00 pm. The October2, 2019 meeting will be the Annual Guest Night - at the Pumpkin Patch. A fun evening is planned with Club cookoff contest, crowning of the ‘Pumpkin Queen’ and a surprise guest! All are invited to attend to learn about the RWC.
Many exciting things are planned for this club year. We will participate in the Color Run, have day trips, guest speakers as well as being involved in an art festival. New members are welcome! Check us out on Facebook at Rostraver Woman's Club or call 724-379-8284 for more information.
