The Rostraver Township Woman’s Club is pleased to announce that two local students placed in the General Federation of Women’s Club Pennsylvania Arts Contest.

Noah Spedaliere of Rostraver Township won 2nd place for Division 1, Grades K-2, for his poem titled 'The Mickey Jangle.' Jillian Butchki of Rostraver Township won 3rd place for Division 3, Grades 6-8, for her poem titled 'Five.' Both winners received a certificate and check from the General Federation of Women’s Club Pennsylvania.

The Rostraver Woman’s Club also donated trees to the fourth graders at Rostraver Elementary thanks to a donation made by the CILOETS Women of US Steel Pittsburgh.

The Rostraver Woman’s Club is on summer break but will resume meeting on Wednesday, September 6, 2017 at the Fells Methodist Church at 7 p.m.
