Monessen Library Receives Donation

The monies will be used for the Makerspace and STEM projects, which aid students in problem-solving and leadership skills. Both programs also help develop greater imagination and creativity. The children's library conducts numerous weekly programs that foster group interaction and leadership skills with hands on training.

Shown in the picture at right are (standing l to r): Marsha Adams, children's coordinator; Dave Zilka, library director; Virginia Monaghan, wife and Foundation Board member and library trustee. (Seated l to r): Brecklynn Bradburn, Monaghan's granddaughter; Eli Rudge, Adams' grandson and library volunteer; and Quinn Bradburn, Monaghan's granddaughter.
