The Monessen Historical Society announced the folowing events.

Autumn Exhibit

The autumn exhibit at the Monessen Heritage Museum, 505 Donner Ave., focuses on the five former ethnic Roman Catholic churches of the city, which were consolidated together to form the Epiphany of the Lord Church 25 years ago. Each former church has a separate display of photographs and memorabilia. The exhibit can be viewed through the end of the year on Wednesday through Saturday from 10 a.m. until 3 p.m.

Fund Drive

The annual fund drive and membership renewal has started. Be on the lookout for a mailing containing the necessary forms and information. The donations are used to run the museum and provide for the historic preservation of Monessen’s past. Membership and donation forms can also be picked up at the Museum. Single memberships are $15 per calendar year. Family memberships are $20 and business memberships are $50.
