Alaunna Malek, a ten year old from Monongahela, competed in the Pure National Pageant as Miss Keystone State in Orlando Florida in June. Alaunna is a fourth grader at Ringgold Elementary South.

After competing with other 17 other state queens from around the country, she was crowned as Pure International Pageants: National PreTeen Miss America in four different categories: Introduction, Interviews, Modeling and Formal Wear.
Pure International Pageants is a Christian based pageant. Their motto is Lead, Achieve and Succeed.
