Side Walks with Brandon - Friday July @ 10 a.m.

Outdoor Yoga with Ashley!- Saturdays in July @ 9 a.m.
Relax in the great outdoors of Brennan Plaza with Ashley Dalzell! Her class is an all-level yoga experience, infusing a mix of Hatha and vinyasa styles, while focusing on exploring strength, flexibility, and balance through postures and breath work. Cost: $5.00 per session. Have a yoga mat or towel and bottled water handy!

Voices from the Attic: A Chat with Dr. Carleton Young - Thursday July 14 @ 1 p.m.
Join the library for a program that explores how the most dangerous time in America can be better understood through the power of the written word. Imagine clearing out your family attic and discovering hundreds of letters written during the Civil War. This is exactly what happened to local professor Carleton Young. The result of this discovery is “Voices from the Attic: The Williamstown Boys in the Civil War.” The book tells the story of two brothers who witnessed and made history by fighting in many important battles including Antietam, Cedar Creek, Chancellorsville, and Gettysburg. FREE - Registration is required.

Family Night with the Josh and Gab Show - Monday July 18 @ 7 p.m.
Josh Verbanets and Gab Bonesso are two Pittsburgh-based writers, performers, educators and public personalities who have entertained and informed audiences of all ages on both a regional and national scale. The duo has been featured on WQED television and in national press for their work, received both "Best In The Burgh" and "40 Under 40" awards from Pittsburgh Magazine, gained heavy airplay from WXPN Kids Corner radio, and recently partnered The Pittsburgh Children’s Museum as official programmers. Bring a blanket and a few snacks, and enjoy music on the lawn. FREE - Registration is required.

Just Ask the Rabbi: A Talk and Nosh - Thursday July 21 @ 1 p.m.
Every Jewish child knows that all of his questions, no matter how big or small, are met with the same answer by his parents: “Just ask the rabbi.” In the spirit of this playful openness, the library wants you to join us for an informal talk with a real mensch of a man, Rabbi Charles Diamond! He’ll answer all of your questions –and more!-- while we nosh on a bagel lunch fit for any hungry Hebrew. FREE - Registration is required.
