Business & Merchant

Listed below are upcoming Bethel Park Chamber of Commerce events. The Chamber can be reached at 412-595-8361.

The Countdown Begins for Health Care Enrollments

The Bethel Park Chamber is hosting a luncheon on September 23, 2015 from 11:30 a.m. -1:30 p.m. at the Crowne Plaza on Ft. Couch Road, Bethel Park.  The guest speaker will be Anne Lavelle, Esquire from Cohen & Grigsby.  Anne is an expert in the Affordable Health Care Act.  She will help you understand why it will be so important to know what your options are and the challenges that you may face this fall signing up for your health care and with the new 2016 regulations that will guide your decision making process.

Enrollments for Medicare begin October 1 through October 31, 2015.   Other enrollments will close on December 31, 2015.  It is important to understand what the new changes are, which govern employers and individuals, and how those changes may impact you financially and legally.

Go the Chamber web site at bpchamber.org to register, contact the Chamber at 412-595-8361 or e-mail connie@bpchamber.org  for more information.

Shop the CBS Corridor During the Chamber Holly Daze ‘Shop Local’ Campaign

The Bethel Park Chamber is excited to be kicking off their ‘Shop Local’ campaign early this year.   The Chamber is asking all merchants to participate in bringing home revenue to our local shops that support our communities through tax dollars and support to community events.

The Castle Shannon, Bethel Park and South Park Shopping Corridor will be lighting the way for the Chamber Holly Daze ‘Shop Local’ events this year.  Stores and services from Castle Shannon, Bethel Park and South Park will be promoting their businesses and encouraging our residents to participate with special promotions and activities for the holidays.

As part of the ‘Shop Local’ program, the Winter Wonderland will once again house holiday trees that are available for sponsorship and displayed at the Bethel Park High School through December and sold off to ticket holders for use in their homes or businesses. If you want to sponsor a tree, sponsor a store or group store event, offer promotional events, or provide an item for the Shop Local Chamber Charlie Stuffer Bag, please notify the Chamber by October 1, 2015.

If you want to be a part of the Chamber Holly Daze ‘Shop Local’ Directory, your business card –sized ad must be in by October 15, 2015 for printing.  For more information, go to the Bethel Park Chamber website at bpchamber.org or call 412-595-8361.
