Family Owned Farm Focuses on Homegrown Produce

After spending many years in a large corporation and raising two children, John Varner and his wife Diane, have returned to their roots and their love of farming. The Varner's own and operate Stone Church Acres Farm located at the top of Stone Church Road in Finleyville, PA.

Their mission as a small 30-acre farm is to harvest delicious tasting fruits and vegetables for the local community. They pride themselves on growing top quality vegetables.

The entire family is included in the planting, picking and selling operation at the farm. They follow sustainable agricultural practices by growing all produce as naturally as possible. They use both organic and IPM (Integrated Pest Management) crop production methods.

Stone Church Acres Farm is currently accepting applications for CSA (Community Supported Agriculture) memberships. They will also be selling produce at the barn on Saturdays from 10 am - 6 pm beginning on June 22. In addition, they will be selling fresh picked produce at the Pleasant Hills, Upper St. Clair and Mt. Lebanon Farmers Markets. The Stone Church Acres Farm family invites you to try their fresh produce!
