Business & Merchant

Established in 1997, Three Rivers Marine and Rail Terminals, L.P. has been and continues to be a vital, growing business in the Mon Valley, transporting, packaging and storing many of the materials people use in their daily lives.

Three Rivers Marine and Rail Terminals is the GRC Business of the Month. Pictured are (l-r): Gene Champion, JD Shearer, and Bill Soles.
Three Rivers is family-owned and operated. The sense of family extends to the staff, a team of fifty dedicated people who know how to balance the best of today’s equipment and technology with good, old-fashioned work ethic.

Located at the intersection of I-70 and the Monongahela River, Three Rivers is a short distance from the PA Turnpike, Interstate 79 and the Mon-Fayette Expressway. This ideal location provides Three Rivers with direct river, road and rail access.

In addition to transloading bulk materials, TRMRT packages some of the materials in their state-of-the-art packaging plant. This arm of the company is called Keystone Processing and Packaging. In Keystone’s packaging plant materials such as de-icer, mulch, fertilizer and decorative stone are placed in bags or various other containers and palletized. These pallets are then shipped to their final location.
