The Bradford House Museum is again sponsoring two poster contests open to all middle and high school students in Washington and Greene Counties on a topic of Western Pennsylvania history, 1750 – 1850.

St. Elizabeth Elementary School, Grove Place, Pittsburgh, PA, will hold a Preschool Story Hour open to the public on Thursday, November 19th from 1-2 p.m.

The Old Trails Business and Professional Women's Club held its October meeting at King's Resturant in Bentleyville. It honored students from four area high schools in art and music.

The WPIAL Sportsmanship Committee has selected five member schools for 2014-15 sportsmanship awards.
