The history of Atria’s restaurants goes back to the 1930s, when they served only a sandwich and a beer. Things sure have changed since then.
 The 8th Atria’s restaurant in Southwest Pennsylvania is located in Pleasant Hills on Route 51 in the Bill Green Shopping Center.

The 8th Atria’s location opened in Pleasant Hills in November 2012, and its extensive menu now includes appetizers, flatbreads, soups, salads, pastas, wood-fired steaks and chops, seafood, sandwiches, and burgers. Specifically, some of the more exotic-sounding choices are pot roast nachos, sherry crab bisque, fra Diablo, pork filet gorgonzola, baja fish tacos, and a wide assortment of alcoholic beverages. The Atria’s franchise was recently chosen as the best burger in the “Burgh,” and won at the Allegheny County Rib Festival.
The store’s motto is “It’s good to be here,” and Brad Frye, proprietor, emphasizes that the friendliness of the servers is just as important as the quality of the food. He says the dining experience at Atria’s is like eating at a neighbor’s home—you feel very welcome. Furthermore, Frye says, “We’re dedicated to going above and beyond what people expect—we offer not just great food, but also outstanding customer service.” Consequently, the crowds of customers keep 60 employees very busy.

Prices range from $9 to $16 for lunch items and $12 to $23 for dinner. Happy hour is celebrated from 5-7 p.m. The restaurant is open from 11 a.m.-10 p.m. Sunday through Thursday and 11 a.m.-11 p.m. Friday and Saturday. Take-out is available, and reservations are recommended.
