The United Christian Church, 499 East Malden Drive in Coal Center will have a live drive-thru Nativity ‘Journey to Bethlehem’ on Saturday and Sunday, December 9 and 10 from 6:00PM to 8:00PM.  There are 9 live scenes with actors and animals.  Donations are accepted and shared between California Volunteer Fire Department & Camp Laurelview Christian Camp.  For more information call 724-938-2098.

The Interfaith Council is sponsoring a free Christmas Concert at First Presbyterian Church of Finleyville on Monday, December 11, 2023, at 7:00 PM.  A Goodwill Offering will benefit the St. John XXIII Interfaith Food Pantry at St. Francis Fellowship Hall, and other interfaith projects.  The music will be provided by the South Hills Community Concert Band.  Refreshments will be provided following the performance.

The West Newton First Church of God, located at 157 N. Second Street in West Newton, is holding their 5th Annual ‘Christmas Cookie Walk’ on Saturday Dec. 9 from 10:00AM to 12:00 noon in the Social Hall.   Upon arrival, visitors will receive a plastic glove and a box.  Fill your box with all your favorite cookies and then pay for the cookies at $9 a pound.  We will also be selling one dozen boxes of homemade peanut butter balls for $8 per dozen.  For more information, call 724-872-7467.
