The Rostraver Woman’s Club kicked off a new year under new administration at its first meeting on Wednesday, September 9, 2026, at Fells United Methodist Church in Rostraver. New President Tamira Spedaliere was sworn in and began her term with a sweet reminder for members, presenting each with a bee keychain as a symbol to always “bee kind.” The theme carried throughout the evening, with hostesses Jennifer Bukovitz, Luann Lynn and Spedaliere serving chicken salad croissants, lemon cake, bee-themed chocolate-covered pretzels and beverages.

Members also started the year by giving back to the community, donating more than 60 items to the local food bank, including much-needed canned meats and spaghetti sauce.
The fun continues at the club’s next meeting on Wednesday, October 21, at 7:00PM at Fells United Methodist Church, 1268 Fells Church Road, Belle Vernon. October will feature the club’s annual cookoff and Guest Night, offering the perfect opportunity for women throughout the Mon Valley to meet members and learn more about the organization. Guests are invited to come enjoy the tastes of autumn, make new friends and join in a little friendly competition as one member is crowned the reigning 2026 Pumpkin Queen!
Whether you come with a friend or arrive ready to make a few new ones, the Rostraver Woman’s Club welcomes you to spend an evening learning more about its members, activities and commitment to making a difference in the community. Membership is open to all women throughout the Mon Valley.
