Guest Speaker Lieutenant Colonel Richard D. Collage, Pennsylvania National Guard, PA Counter-drug Joint Task Force.

Guest speaker Lt. Colonel Richard D. Collage spoke on the meaning of Veterans Day and what you can do to honor a veteran and concluded by thanking them for their service. He advised students to have goals, write them down, tell others about them, and to work hard to achieve those goals.

Students also participated in the ceremony. The Star Spangled Banner was performed by the Middle School Symphonic Band, the 7th-8th grade orchestra performed "God Bless America," and the 7th-8th grade chorus performed 'America the Beautiful'. DeJuanna Gile read 'Thank You Veterans', 'Freedom Isn't Free' was read by Kelly Strong, and the 'History of Taps' was read by Joram Stith. Hayley Palmer and Natalie Brogna performed 'Taps' and Kaelyn McClain played the snare drum. Patriots Pen essay winners were awarded by Robert MacPherson.

After a video tribute by local veterans, guests were invited to the library for refreshments.
