The Charleroi Area Historical Society (CAHS) hosted the Mon Valley Quilters Club (MVQC) at their most recent meeting with a program that provided some history, much discussion, and appreciation of the displaying of the work from club members.

Visitors also brought quilt projects they are working on or quilts collected as family heirlooms.

The MVQC Quilt Show will be held on September 15 and 16 at the Mon Valley YMCA. At the MVQC Quilt Show, there will be 150+ quilts (and counting) on display, plus vendors, workshops, and opportunities to "win" prizes! One of them will be a beautiful quilt made by club members.

Light refreshments were provided at the CAHS meeting by members of the Board of Directors, and the quilting ladies were thanked for a very informative, enjoyable and attractive presentation.
