The Rotary Club of South Hills is excited to welcome two of its newest members, Dawn Rees and Heidi Hess Buckley, as the club begins a new Rotary year — and an exciting new chapter in its history.

Dawn Rees holds the distinction of being the club’s first new member of the 2026–2027 Rotary year. Dawn has already begun getting involved in the work of the club, joining both the Community Outreach and Community Service Committees. Her willingness to step in and serve reflects exactly what Rotary membership is all about — bringing people together who want to make a positive difference in their community.

Heidi Hess Buckley marks another special milestone. She is the first new member inducted since the club changed their name and officially became the Rotary Club of South Hills. As the club expands its identity and its reach throughout the South Hills communities, welcoming Heidi as the first member under the new name makes her induction especially meaningful.

For the Rotary Club of South Hills, growing membership is about much more than adding names to a roster. Each new member brings new ideas, new connections, new talents and another set of hands ready to serve.

Dawn and Heidi join the club at an exciting time as the Rotary Club of South Hills continues to expand its service, strengthen its community partnerships and look for new ways to make an impact throughout the South Hills and beyond. We are proud to welcome Dawn Rees and Heidi Hess Buckley to Rotary and look forward to everything they will bring to the club and the communities we serve. New year. New name. New members. And an exciting future ahead for the Rotary Club of South Hills.
