Great design doesn’t have to come from Madison Avenue, in New York City or even Liberty Avenue, in Pittsburgh. One local design company in the South Hills is winning awards and winning praise from many top local businesses.

Ocreations is a boutique design firm founded in 2006 by Bethel Park resident Shawn O’Mara, that provides graphic design and website design services including logos and branding, publications, marketing materials, packaging, signage, and much more. Both of the senior partners at the company are from the South Hills, which gives them a unique edge to help businesses with fast, affordable design service right in the neighborhood.

While their offices are located on East Carson Street on the South Side, the team prefers to come to the businesses of their clients when starting a new design project.

“We really want to get to know our clients to create a unique brand based on their products, service, and company culture,” said O’Mara, founder and senior partner of ocreations. Whether the target audience is niche or broad, the team at ocreations has the knowledge of what it takes to reach, and keep customers in the South Pittsburgh market.

Ocreations has been working with several local businesses for years including the South Hills-Mon Valley Messenger, Giant Eagle and Eyetique. These clients have stayed with ocreations since their inception because the designers continue to provide creative solutions for all types of graphic and website design issues. They believe that building a long term relationship with their clients and target market helps to provide spot-on messaging that builds awareness, branding, and sales.
