PITTSBURGH, PA. – The Pittsburgh Steelers recently announced a multi-year agreement with MeiGray – a leader in the game-worn and game-used industry – that will offer fans and collectors fully authenticated seats from Acrisure Stadium, the Steelers home since 2001.
The offering comes following the commencement of a routine and anticipated multi-year stadium seat replacement project. The initial phase, which consists of replacement of approximately 22,000 seats in the Upper Level East, Upper Level West and North Club of Acrisure Stadium, will be completed in advance of the start of the 2026 NFL season.
MeiGray is refurbishing the decommissioned seats and repurposing them as collectables for fans. This process reduces waste while allowing fans to own a piece of Pittsburgh Steelers and Acrisure Stadium history.
“We are thrilled to announce our partnership with MeiGray, giving fans the first opportunity to own a piece of the Steelers’ iconic home—sustainably repurposed and authenticated by a renowned game-used sports memorabilia authenticator,” said Ryan Huzjak, Senior Vice President of Business Operations for the Pittsburgh Steelers.
Fans can visit the MeiGray website to purchase single seats, seat pairs, individual seat backs and seat bottoms, including both the iconic gold and gray seats, that have begun to be removed and replaced from the 68,400-seat stadium.
The seats will be delivered fully assembled and ready for display. Stadium singles are available for $399 and stadium pairs for $599. Autographed seatbacks by select Steelers legends will be available at $299. Unautographed seat backs are $199 and unautographed seat bottoms are $149. Fans can also pre-order seats in gold or gray that will be removed as part of future phases of the seat removal taking place after the conclusion of the 2026 NFL season.
“We’re honored to be chosen to help fans acquire these unique relics,” said MeiGray President Barry Meisel. “There’s no way to get closer to the Steelers than to own a piece of the stadium in which so many great moments occurred. It’s an exciting time for Steelers fans and hobby collectors. We’re delighted to be stewarding this project.”
MeiGray has been a leader in the game-worn industry since it was founded in 1997. MeiGray created Game-Worn Authentication Programs in partnership with the NHL in 2002 and the NBA in 2006. The company currently partners with teams in the NBA, NHL and WNBA. MeiGray’s expertise gives fans direct access to a unique and personal piece of their fandom as well as guaranteeing its authenticity.
