South Hills and White Oak Rotary Clubs Join Forces in the Fight Against Polio

The Rotary Clubs of South Hills and White Oak are teaming up once again to “Get a Strike for Polio” at their annual ‘Pins for Polio’ fundraiser on Sunday, October 18, from 1:00PM to 4:00PM at Spins Bowl, 5840 Buttermilk Hollow Road, Pittsburgh, PA 15207.
The afternoon will bring together Rotarians, families, friends and community members for three hours of bowling and fellowship while raising funds for Rotary’s ongoing fight against polio.
For $25 per person, participants will receive three hours of unlimited bowling, shoe rental and two pieces of cheese pizza. Those who would like to support the fundraiser in another way can sponsor a bowling lane for $50 and receive recognition during the event.
Pins for Polio combines a fun community afternoon with one of Rotary’s longest-standing humanitarian commitments. Rotary members around the world have worked for decades toward the goal of ending polio, and local events such as this one help keep that effort moving forward.
The Rotary Clubs of South Hills and White Oak invite the community to gather a team, bring family and friends, and spend the afternoon bowling for a cause.
