The annual Friendship Hill ‘Whiskey Rebellion-Festifall Festival’ will be held on Saturday and Sunday September 5 and 6, 2026 from 11:00AM - 4:00PM at the Friendship Hill National Park Historic Site, 223 New Geneva Road, Point Marion, PA 15474.
Friendship Hill was the country estate of Albert Gallatin, Secretary of the Treasury under Presidents Thomas Jefferson and James Madison. Guests speakers and presenters will include Ron Duquette as Albert Gallatin, Brian Cunning as George Washington, Brady Crytzer, author and historian (Saturday only), and Thomas Karolewitz, local historian (Sunday only).
Oliver Miller Homestead, the Bradford House, and the Sons of Liberty (Arthur St. Clair and Washington Chapters) will also be in attendance.
An artillery demonstration by the National Park Service will feature the firing of a 6-pound cannon. A Frontier Church Service will be offered by Reverend George Relic at 10:30 am on Sunday. Shopkeepers and Tradesmen include: Greene County Dulcimer Players, Hannah’s Head Garlands, Mike Lubich (blacksmith), Pete Pasqua (wood carvings), Doug Plance (farm tools and uses of rye), Katie Baldwin (period clothing), Taylor Miller (silhouettes), Alice Harris (herbs, dried materials, sachets), Tim Bible (barn wood items), Michelle Douyan (soy candles, wax melts, sprays), and Cheryl Peers and Debbie Booher (quilting).
In April 2026, a Wildflower Walk and Presentation by author and photographer, Jack (and Donna) Gates was held on the grounds of Friendship Hill. Plans are for the Gates to present a second event in spring 2027.
