The program will take place at Wrights United Methodist Church, 788 Venetia Road, Venetia, and features an introduction to the historic Oliver Miller Homestead located in South Park, Allegheny County, PA.

An original log house was home to the Miller family and replaced ca 1830 in stone making it the farmhouse that stands to this day. Learn about the Miller family and how this pioneer family site reflects "living history" in period docents recreating life as a pioneer in daily life activities and colonial crafts.  The house is open on Sunday afternoons, 1:30PM - 4:30PM from May to December for visitors.

For more information on the society, the Enoch Wright House and log cabin, visit peterescreekhistoricalsociety.org.
