Welcome back everyone to another year of learning the History of Snowden/South Park Township.

The South Park Historical Society begins their membership meetings and programs on Tuesday, March 17 at 7:00PM, at the Library Fire Hall, located at 6581Library Road in South Park Township. The program is: “Show and Tell”.   Presenters will bring items and discuss their significance of home, memory and findings. All meetings are open to the public at no charge, and light refreshments are provided.

The Society’s two publications: “Historic Snowden Twp.-South Park Twp.” and “History of Allegheny County’s Farmlands to Parklands” are for sale at the South Park Township Library for $20 (tax included). Books can also be mailed anywhere in the Continental United States for an additional cost of $6, for shipping and handling.
