‘Souper Tuesday’ Soup Pickups Continue
Long Branch Community Grange is happy to announce that they will begin their 2026 show season on March 28 with a performance by Dave Hixon, an accomplished musician who began his music career at the age of 12. Dave plays an Acoustic guitar and is well known in the area: having played with the Jades, Say, The Best of Times bands and currently plays with the Knob Road Band. Dave encourages people
to sing along with him or even dance if you wish. Come out and enjoy this wonderful show along with a delicious meal featuring a Pasta and Salad Bar with beverages and dessert.
The doors open at 5:30PM and dinner will begin at 6:00PM followed by the show at 7:00PM. The price of dinner and show will be $40. Tickets can be purchased from any Granger or by calling 724-938-2529 or 724-344-0945. No tickets will be sold after March 21
Future shows being planned are on April 18 featuring Mallary Bozovich, singer and song writer and on May 30, ‘You’re a Good Man Charlie Brown’ presented by Mystery’s Most Wanted. More details to follow.
The Grange is located at 210 Chestnut Street, Coal Center, PA 15423. The Grange is handicapped accessible and is nonalcoholic, and smoke free. No tickets will be sold at the door.
Souper Tuesday Continues
‘Souper Tuesday’ will be observed each Tuesday at Long Branch Community Grange. A variety of soups will be made and are available for pickup between 6:00PM to 7:30PM each Tuesday and from 10:30AM until 12:00 Noon on Wednesdays. Soup will be sold for $10 a quart and $5 per pint.
