Join the Ultimate Christmas Tree Decorating Contest at the South Park Township Library!

This holiday season, the Friends of South Park Township Library is turning the library into a winter wonderland, and you’re invited to be part of the magic! Get ready for a festive Christmas tree decorating contest that’s sure to spark some serious holiday cheer and a bit of friendly competition that even the Griswold’s would envy. Families, kids, and teens are challenged to bring their own small tabletop tree (no taller than three feet) and turn it into a dazzling holiday masterpiece. Use homemade and unbreakable ornaments and let your imagination run wild! Whether you go classic, quirky, or totally unique, every tree will be showcased atop the library’s bookcases, blanketing the space in a merry and bright atmosphere for everyone to enjoy.

But the fun doesn’t stop there. The community gets to play judge by casting votes for their favorite trees, how? Simply bring a non-perishable food item to the library! Each donation counts as one vote and helps support our local Meals on Wheels program. Talk about spreading holiday spirit in more ways than one!

To enter, participants contribute a $10 donation, with all proceeds benefiting the library’s programs and projects. But don’t wait to start planning as the contest is limited, so gather your family, roll up your sleeves, and sign up at the library soon. Stay tuned for more details, and get ready to light up the season with creativity, kindness, and a little holiday sparkle!
